Congratulations Phillip Bearden, for being named Director of Product Development. Phil will bring a wealth of knowledge in electrical engineering and controls delivering Process Technology to the forefront of the industry.
Phil holds a BSEE from The Mobile College of Technology (now part of the University of South Alabama). He has led in an engineering role in his career, holding titles from Design Engineer to Senior Product Manager. In addition, Phil was awarded an Engineer of the Year award via Cleveland Business and has owned and operated several businesses.
Phil served in the US Army for 22 years, working in communications, electronics engineering, and operating in global locations from The Pentagon to Iraq.

Product Development Team
A reorganized Power Supply Controls team consisting of Angie Tiry and Kerry Bryan and the Product Development team of Howard Base, Dave Barnhart, Dan Wratkowski, Todd Lundborg and Tom Steele will be combined into a single Product Development team under the leadership of Phil Bearden. This new team will combine very diverse set of skills in areas of hardware, software and controls that are needed to realize our vision of smart and technologically advanced products.
John Chesnes—Assistant Director of Quality
Process Technology will benefit from a wealth of knowledge in many facets of Manufacturing and Quality with John Chesnes’ promotion to Assistant Director of Quality. Over his time in the field, he has held the position of Quality Manager and Manufacturing Plant Manager. Currently, John is making process improvements and leading the quality team consisting of Jared Lawrence, Dale Smith, Mike Frase, Kevin Jamison, Todd Semega, Catherin Lee, and from Amery, Bruce Scott, and Tom Smith.
Donato Bacco—Project Manager
Donato Bacco has accepted the newly created Project Manager position at Process Technology and will oversee the new facility in Mexico and the Willoughby expansion projects. In his time at Process Technology, Donato has held many titles including Mechanical Engineer, Document Control Manager, and Quality Manager.
Jaimee DiRenzo—Export Specialist
Jaime DiRenzo is our new Export Specialist. Since joining Process Technology in 2019 as Administrative Support for the Sales Department, Jaimee has repeatedly demonstrated her ability to significantly impact the organization and the self-initiative to learn and grow. This year, with the high demand for products to support the semiconductor industry. Jaimee learned the ins and outs of export requirements and processes to become the backup for Export Compliance. She quickly evolved to become the primary TM for Export Compliance which led to her promotion.
